Vegetable ingredients:
- broccoli
- cauliflower
- cucumber
- beans
- Carrots
- Bean sprouts
- egg
Peanut seasoning ingredients:
- 3 green onions
- 3 pieces of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste
- One small slice of lemongrass-cut into small pieces
- Two large red peppers containing seeds.
- Baking oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 400 ml of water
- 5 tablespoons peanut sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of dried chili flakes
- 2 tsp bajak chili
- A little lime juice
How to make:
- Wash, clean and remove sprouts from all existing vegetable ingredients
- Boil the broccoli and cauliflower separately and cook until tender and not too long. Grate the carrots and pour boiling water. Wait a moment for the remaining water to drain. Cook the beans a little longer. Then let it cool.
- Take a pestle, cut it into cubes of onions and garlic, and put it in the pestle with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and red pepper. Grind until it is a little rough. Heat the oil and fry the ingredients until they smell, but be careful not to burn them.
- Add a teaspoon of cumin and 1 teaspoon of coriander and fry for a little longer.
- Pour 400 ml of water and grind with a pestle. Add peanut sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, dried chili sauce, chili sauce and orange juice and stir until moderately firm. If it's too fluid, you can add a little more peanut sauce.
- Now the peanut sauce is ready.
- Now you are ready to serve hodgepodge. The serving method is to place all the vegetables on a large plate. Then place the sauce in the center and the hard-boiled egg on top.
Oh yeah, here are some tips from Kania. Brown sugar has a unique taste, so if you replace it with ordinary sugar, the taste will change. Chili sauce can use other chili sauce, so no badjack sauce is needed. This hodge pod can be enjoyed with rice cakes and white rice.
